Animal Care Explained came about as a way to provide people looking to keep livestock as pets resources on how to care for them. Most resources out there for farm animals cater to production and while they can still be very useful, we want to provide you with quality info on how to keep your pets safe, healthy, and happy.
About The Author
My name is Tiffany and I am a third year veterinary student with a passion for farm animals. I grew up on my family’s farm where all our animals are our family. We have over 200 animals between our farm and the sanctuary I run, Dreaming of a Chance Sanctuary, spanning 16 species of animals. I always was saddened that there wasn’t a lot of resources out their for people keeping farm animals as pets and decided that maybe I should be the one to create them then.
With years and years of farm animal experience, a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, and being just a year away from graduating veterinary school, I hope that my resources give you a lot of valuable information that help you and your farm animals thrive together.
